The highly anticipated “Trilogy Art of Ho Kah Leong” exhibition is set to take place from June 1 to 10, 2024, at The Art Space by Natalie Wong, located at 66 Kallang Pudding Road, #01-01 Horkew Business Centre, Singapore 349324. The exhibition will be open daily from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The opening ceremony is scheduled for June 3, 2024, at 5:00 PM, with Mr. Edwin Tong, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth & Second Minister for Law, serving as the Guest of Honour.

Artist Profile – Dr. Ho Kah Leong

Dr. Ho Kah Leong, aged 87, is a former Senior Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry of Culture and the former Principal of the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. Despite his advanced age, he continues to actively engage in outdoor painting, woodcut printmaking, and calligraphy. This exhibition marks the first time nearly 40 of his works across these three mediums will be displayed, with 70-80% of them being new creations.

As part of the exhibition, two of Dr. Ho’s new woodcut prints have been printed on 200 canvas tote bags, each sold for SGD 100. The proceeds from these canvas tote bags will be donated to Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital, demonstrating Dr. Ho’s commitment to using his art for social good. This special edition of canvas tote bags showcases his dedication to both art and community welfare.
